All orders will ship April 1-30, 2025. Tubers will ship to Zones 7-10 first. If you are in Zones 3-6, expect your tubers in mid April!
We ship dahlia tubers, seeds, and gift products within the U.S. only. All U.S. orders ship via USPS First Class or USPS Priority Mail.
Please note: Packages returned to Swan Seed Co. due to the USPS’s inability to deliver (whether from inaccurate address info provided to Swan Seed Co. or other delivery issues) are ineligible for a refund of shipping fees and will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Once an order is placed, we cannot add or subtract items. If you want any additional items not included in your original order, please place a new order. We will combine shipping and reduce charges on separately placed orders or on orders from different sales.
You can cancel your order up to two weeks before April 1, 2025. Please email us at tnail@swanseedco.org with your request. We will refund to your original payment method, minus a 10% re-stocking fee.
Visitors: Our farm is closed to visitors until summer 2025. We are not open for drop-in visitors until our first u-cut event, June 14, 2025.
Guarantee: We guarantee that our dahlias will grow and are true to name, or your product will be refunded given you follow all the required steps in our dahlia growing guide! You will need photo documentation to support your claim. We check that each tuber has a strong neck and body with a visible eye before leaving the farm!
Growing: Your dahlias should sprout within 6 weeks after planting. If they fail to sprout within 7 weeks after planting, please email us immediately at tnail@swanseedco.org. We are not responsible for weather issues, pest damage, or poor customer care. Problems must be reported by August 15 of the year they were ordered. This guarantee is limited to the purchase price of tubers only, and does not include shipping fees or liability or damages from losses resulting from crop failure. Reselling tubers originally purchased from Swan Seed Co. voids any and all guarantees on the tubers.
Overwintering your dahlias: If you live in a place where the temperatures fall below freezing overwinter, you will need to dig up and store your tubers. See our dahlia growing guide for more information!
